The Split
Pick a side with a tap, a click, or the left and right arrow keys. Each decided pair writes one row and moves both ratings by the Elo maths below — you see the numbers the server wrote, not an optimistic guess.

The method
A decided pair writes one matchup row and updates both people in a single transaction. Ratings are Elo with a K-factor of 32 and a floor of 100; everyone enters at 1500.
The method
Voting is anonymous — there is no account and no sign-in. Ballot stuffing is limited by an address window of 60 votes per five minutes; over that, the vote is refused and the Split says so rather than pretending it counted.
The method
Pairs are not random across the whole pool: the server draws a person at random and matches them with the nearest-rated person to them, which is what makes a rating settle rather than wander.
