Rank the Rich puts two of the world's biggest fortunes side by side and asks one thing: which is the bigger name? You answer with a tap. The answer moves an Elo rating, and the ratings, stacked up, become a board.
What it is
Everything on this site is generated by one loop. A pair is drawn, someone picks a side, one row is written, two ratings move. There is no separate editorial ranking underneath that a vote adjusts — the board is the votes.
The axis is fame, not merit. “Bigger name” means better known in connection with wealth. It is not a statement about anyone's character, conduct, or how they earned what they have, and it is not financial advice.
The numbers
Elo. K-factor 32, rating floor 100, everyone entering at 1500. Each decided pair writes one matchup row and updates both people in a single transaction. The pool and its fields are read live from the database on every request — no count on this site is typed in by hand.
